the location was central! a supermarket was only two minutes away. st marks square was a five minute walk, away from crowded streets. i found a vending machine in the corridor.

the bed felt a bit uncomfortable, but it wasn't a major issue.

the room was honestly terrible. the furniture was old and the walls was really ugly. i expected a lot more considering what i paid. i won't be going back, i can say that much.

The canal view i anticipated was partially obstructed. loud motorboats frequently passed, especially early mornings. my room was directly above a delivery dock so i was often awakened at 5 a.m. i also found the soundproofing quite poor. Conversations in adjacent rooms were easily audible.

The location was central! It was close to attractions and restaurants. The room and bathroom were clean. I found the beds comfortable and the room featured high ceilings. The staff provided clear instructions for finding the place.

The old windows did not block sound well. Outside noise and hall noise bothered me. I recommend earplugs for light sleepers.
