central location convenient supermarket nearby square
the location was central! a supermarket was only two minutes away. st marks square was a five minute walk, away from crowded streets. i found a vending machine in the corridor.
the bed felt a bit uncomfortable, but it wasn't a major issue.

obstructed view poor soundproofing
The canal view i anticipated was partially obstructed. loud motorboats frequently passed, especially early mornings. my room was directly above a delivery dock so i was often awakened at 5 a.m. i also found the soundproofing quite poor. Conversations in adjacent rooms were easily audible.

Fantastic Location and Cleanliness
central location clean room comfy beds high ceilings
The location was central! It was close to attractions and restaurants. The room and bathroom were clean. I found the beds comfortable and the room featured high ceilings. The staff provided clear instructions for finding the place.
The old windows did not block sound well. Outside noise and hall noise bothered me. I recommend earplugs for light sleepers.

The hotel offers vending machines stocked with drinks and coffee. These are conveniently located near the entrance. Prices are very reasonable. A vending machine with snacks is available too.

the location was central to many attractions and restaurants. the room and bathroom were very clean. i found the beds comfortable.
